Delete your account

This page explains how to delete your account in the Sparrio app (developer: Sparrio, sparrio.online) and what happens to your data. Deletion is permanent.

In the app

  1. Open Sparrio and sign in.
  2. Go to Settings → Delete my account.
  3. Read the summary, tick the confirmation box, tap the delete button and confirm in the dialog. If you signed in a while ago, the app first asks you to sign in again (password, Google or Apple).
  4. Your account and personal data are deleted from our servers immediately and you are signed out.

Without access to the app

If you cannot sign in (lost access, suspended account), send an e-mail from the address linked to your account to the address below with the subject “Delete my account”. We verify that the account is yours and delete it within 30 days.

What is deleted

  • Your profile (name, bio, sports, level, district, language, visibility), e-mail address, year of birth, phone number, notification tokens and terms-acceptance record.
  • Your follows and block list, your game listings and the applications you sent to other listings, and waiting-list entries.
  • Open booking requests are cancelled and the venue is informed.

What is kept, and for how long

  • Past bookings stay with the venue for its statistics, without your user ID, phone number or note.
  • Reviews you wrote stay without your name; reports you filed stay without your identity (moderation record).
  • A moderation archive (up to 30 days) and, if an account was banned for abuse, a hashed ban list entry, to keep the community safe. Data we must keep by law is kept only for the legal period.

Sign in with Apple: when you delete the account, we also revoke the Apple authorization token for Sparrio.

On the website

Sign in on sparrio.online, open My account and use “Delete my account”. It runs the same deletion as the app.

Go to My account

Deleting your account does not cancel bookings already confirmed with a venue; contact the venue directly. If you have a store subscription, cancel it in the App Store or Google Play, because deleting the account does not cancel it.
